I go back way back with Ms. Grace for inspiration.
I did not always understand why I was attracted to her because she was the very definition of what I didn’t understand I loved which is surrealism. I couldn’t really change Ms. Grace. I could only see her as I already see her.

Naomi is a survivor artist, a chameleon. A queen of reinvention and resilience.
I remember seeing Naomi walk a test before a show and I truly became a fan.
I was seeing Naomi as Cubism. The sharp lines and also the curves read as the heart of resilience.
